Memorial Day
A tribute and thanks to all who have served in our military so that others in this great country could pursue their hopes and dreams. Your sacrifices do not go unrecognized!

Sheridan 7th Birthday Party!
I thought that Sheridan also needed to be added to this family blog. So, here's some pictures from her 7th Birthday Party at Win Kids!
Sheridan loves horses. So we went with that theme in decor, paper goods, cake & goodie bags! She loved it!
Her party was basically a gymnastics party. The kids got to play on the balance beams, flip over the bars, jump on the trampolines, and jump/flip/run into the foam pit.
This place also has a 3 person swing that the kids got to ride on. Sheridan loved it. At first, she told them to go low and slow, which they did. Then, the staff member started going a little higher and a little faster with each push! Sheridan had a BLAST!
Colin joined in on the fun too! At first, he wanted to be serious and not smile....but he couldn't help himself. It was too much fun!
Happy Birthday Sheridan!!! We love you!!!
Colin graduates!

American Airlines dropped a bomb today by announcing that all checked bags will now be charged - $15 for the first and $25 for the second. Each way. Luckily the bomb just missed us. The $15 fee will begin on June 15th. We get back from our vacation to the Pacific NW on June 14th. As it is, we're still trying to figure out how to get the car seats up to Seattle while avoiding the $25 charge.

Today was splash day for Colin at Kids Day Out. This is where the staff breaks out the kiddie pools and the kids run from pool to pool through the grass making for pristine brown water with some grass leaves added for good measure. Colin's hydrophobia kicked in according to Mommy when he refused to get in the water. However, Mommy made him get in anyway...and of course, he cried!!! Oh well, it's now time for his shower, which he loves (go figure)!
New Blogging Venture
Well, this is it. Today, our family steps into the present, the here and now, into the, the, the midst of the informed! We hope that this blog will enable us to stay better connected with close and distant family and friends. We can't guarantee how often it will be updated, but hope to make it a frequent event as I am getting to enjoy this kind of stuff. We'll see you soon!
